Altered Beast black screen but audio
I have just downloaded Altered Beast from the Wii Shop and it won't play. The screen is black but the audio is there. When I hit the home button the screen flickers and goes into the Home Screen. (i.e. Wii Home, Rest, Operations Guide) and I can see the game suspended. I cancel out of that scree and the image remains burned and slightly transparent. I\'ve tried redownloading the game about 5 times. I just want to play it. I\'m confused. I have also downloaded other Virtual Console titles. (Bomberman and Bonk) but those have no problems playing. Black Screen when accessing channels
The screen turns black when I start any of the Wii channels. I tried solving the problems mentioned in \"Black screen, no connection\". Unplugging the system seemed to help at first, but now the black screen appears whenever I start a channel (unplugging doesn\'t help anymore).
Error 204809
after choosing to download a game (i.e. legend of zelda and mario bros) it will say transaction error (mario bros) error code: 204809 please wait a moment and try again. (via email, thanks David)
Extra Remote turning off
My extra remote I bought is now constantly turning off. It happens the most on tennis. I read on your site that I could change the batteries, but that doesn\'t seem to help at all. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help.
Forecast Error
I can connect to the internet. I can perform updates. I can use the Wii Shop Channel.
I can use the Opera Browser. I can exchange emails with the outside world. The only
thing I have not tested is the Mii Parade functions.
Nothing is wrong with my internet connection. Please don\'t advise me to go to the
FAQs page to change channels on my router, ect. Again, nothing is wrong with my internet
connection.
However, when I go to the Forcast Channel I get this error message:
Unable to obtain the latest forecast update. Choose Start.
I click on start and it says one moment please and I get the sunshine
progress bar. After this, the following error message is displayed:
There is a problem with the Wii System Memory. You can not use WiiConnect24.
Return to the Wii Menu and follow the on screen instructions.
THERE IS NO ERROR CODE.
When I go to the Wii Menu there are no on screen instructions waiting
for me. I can go through the WiiConnect24 set up with no issues. I check for updates
and it says I have the latest update available. Again, I can do everything I described
at the beginning of this post.
What do I need to do to resolve this issue?
No internet connection after playing a game
I'm experiencing a problem when i try to connect my wii to internet after i've played some game. I have the nintendo Wifi-USB and i remember that this isn't happened some days ago. When i turn on my wii, everything is ok. I can see through the nintendo wifi-usb\'s software that the connections is in \"green\" and everything is ok. Then i play zelda a couple of hours but when i finish and return to the wii menu, is impossible for me to connect to the internet. I go to see the USB\'s software and the connection is in \"red\" and trying to connect but always stayed in red. I turn of the console and then turn on, but it\'s not work. I test the usb connection with my NDS in that moment but its work fine, only my wii can't connect to the internet.
The only solution is disconnecting the wii console. Then every is fine again until i play some game for a time...In this days i always have to disconnect the wii to get the wiiconnect24 to work, after i've played some game. I don't remember that this happened before. Maybe the last update changes something?? Because i update the firmware some days ago...
Screen covered in dots
When playing Wii Sports, i came across a randomly appearing error where the entire screen would be covered in dots, although there was a disco ball in the game for all sports. Zelda works fine, but when i tried Super Smash Brothers Melee for Gamecube, the dots would appear in the character selection screen also. (email from Christopher)

in the mii channel, when i try to click the friends envelope, i get 109107 when i try to update, it says i' can't get anymore updates, i'm all updated. how do i fix this? (thanks Tana)

Error 208002
When trying to purchase Wii points online - the 1st screen asks for card number, expiry and security code. Clicking OK then comes up with Error Code: 208002 Address incorrect
I have not entered an address? My system is setup as UK and I am in the UK, cards registered in the UK?

It\'s not that address that is incorrect that message comes up if you don\'t have available funds on the credit card your using. Had thios happen to me twice until I paid my credit card debt from buying the wii :P
Error 208010
I recieved error code 208010 after trying to buy 2000 Wiipoints with a visa credit card. All my information was correct, I used a valid card and all, and I tried two times. I've used the card before all over, so it's not that. It said try again later and visit support.nintendo.com. The error code isn't in nintendo's database.
