All those wastes that cannot decompose and become harmful for human health and the environment are called hazardous waste. Many hazardous wastes are recycled which is the best solution to prevent the environment and humans from a big disaster. During recycling, they are treated effectively which helps in reducing the consumption of raw materials and also the waste material amount decreases from the environment. All those wastes that cannot be recycled are disposed into landfills and other braziers. The hazardous waste disposal process is done by different methods so that they never affect the environment after disposed of. The recycling process of hazardous waste provides several benefits to the environment. If they are not well, may cause much harm to us as well as the atmosphere. The improper storage creates tumble, leakage, inflammation, barren land, and polluted water supply. It may bring a big disaster to the earth in the future. So it is important to ensure the safe recycling of wastes during the whole process.
The short term storage and last treatment of hazardous waste facilities are provided by the treatment storage and disposal facilities department. They work for managing huge amounts of wastes and all the operations done on big risks. They work for protecting soil, water, environment, and human life. The government body give special attention to the health of those peoples who are living near the disposal places. They have a high risk of getting sick. For treating, storing, and disposing of hazardous waste, the department pays special attention to transport for the public safety as well as the environment also a solid waste that has the properties of hazardous waste are listed by the government bodies.
They include the wastes that come from industries that may produce from rejected marketable products. All those wastes that involve ignition property, toxic, and highly reactive are treated as hazardous waste. Unused components that have both hazardous and radioactive constituents are known as mixed waste. The hazardous wastes are categorized based on

- non-specific sources
All the wastes come from the general manufacturing of products in the variant industry sector is called as non-specific sources. They are categorised into seven groups:

- Generation of chlorine biased aliphatic hydrocarbons

All those wastage that comes from known specific sectors of manufacturers is known as source-specific wastes. They include different industries like:
- Preservation of wood
- Production of the organic chemical industry
- Refining fuel industry
- Production of different explosive
- Production of inorganic chemicals
- The coal industry, etc.
